What sets gourmetfein apart from others is its uncompromising commitment to the origin of its raw materials. For us, raw materials are not just “cuts of meat that can hardly be used for anything else,” but essential building blocks of quality. Since our founding, our declared goal has been to produce Austria’s best Leberkäse – made exclusively from premium meat sourced from around 200 Austrian partner farmers. The proof: gourmetfein is the only Leberkäse producer to give a sworn guarantee that not a single kilo of pork or beef comes from outside our own value chain. Clear guidelines apply to this:

– No genetically modified soy – especially none from the Amazon region
– No glyphosate used on the fields of our contract farmers
– Live animal transports lasting no more than one hour

The product range has been further developed over the years with creativity and culinary flair. Today, the range includes around 20 varieties, including real favorites such as classic, cheese, chili cheese, cheese bacon, pizza, peppers and porcini mushroom truffles. For people who deliberately avoid pork, gourmetfein offers three varieties each of meat loaf made from 100% beef and turkey liver cheese, each made with high-quality vegetable fat.

No additives

Of course, all products are free of artificial flavour enhancers, gluten and lactose-free as well as thickeners. Leberkäse as an environmental champion – Sustainability is not just a buzzword at gourmetfein – it is part of the company’s DNA. CO₂ emissions have been reduced by around 50% along the entire value chain. In this way, gourmetfein is not only sending a strong signal in the meat industry, but also fulfilling a role model function for the entire food market. The figures show that this demand for quality does not go unnoticed: In 2024, around 3,500 tons of Leberkäse left the gourmetfein-Werk – this corresponds to about 35 million Leberkäse rolls annually, i.e. around 96,000 per day.

Today, gourmetfein-Leberkäse is available in almost all BP, ENI, Shell and SOCAR petrol station shops in Austria, as well as in numerous grocery stores and restaurants. With over 3,500 sales outlets in Germany – including ARAL, ESSO, ENI, Shell, TOTAL, SPRINT and Westphalia – as well as growing availability at OMV in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, gourmet meatloaf has long been in demand beyond the country’s borders.
