Felix drives – gourmetfein helps

gourmetfein supports young cyclists with 10,000 euros

Even though it was not enough for Felix Großschartner to win this year’s Tour of Austria, Gourmetfein is once again showing heart as a loyal partner of cycling: The company supports the promotion of young cycling talents in Upper Austria with 10,000 euros.

For many years, Gourmetfein was the proud main sponsor of the Wels Cycling Club – and has not only experienced countless sporting highlights, such as Riccardo Zoidl’s legendary tour victory in 2013, but has also accompanied the impressive career of a very special talent: Felix Großschartner.

Even at a young age, Felix impressed with discipline, fairness and down-to-earthness. Today he is a star and an integral part of an international WorldTour team – and writes Austrian cycling history as one of the best professional cyclists in the country.

Every step counts – for the future of sport

As part of this year’s Tour of Austria, gourmetfein launched a special initiative:
“Felix Wins – gourmetfein Supports”

The amount was handed over to Paul Resch, President of the Upper Austrian Cycling Association, as part of a symbolic handover. Resch will use the donation specifically for projects and measures to promote talent in Upper Austria’s young cyclists.

With heart and responsibility

“Our young people need prospects – and this is exactly where we come in,” explains Gourmetfein owner Fritz Floimayr: “The road to the top is long and often rocky. With this support, we want to send a clear signal: We believe in talent – then, now and tomorrow.”

With this campaign, Gourmetfein is reaffirming its long-standing role as a reliable partner of sport – and giving tailwind to those who are only starting today.

“Such initiatives are invaluable for Austrian cycling. The support of Gourmetfein shows how important committed partners from the business world are for the development of young talents. In this way, we create new opportunities for our young athletes – from the first race to the international stage. My sincere thanks go to Gourmetfein for this strong sign of solidarity with cycling.”
