GMO-free feeding – responsibility begins with the feed
We believe that good food starts with responsible feeding. That’s why we rely on 100% GMO-free feed for all our products – and we are the first company in our industry to do so.
Genetic engineering enables interventions in the genetic material of plants and animals that go beyond natural breeding methods. The use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) is controversial, especially in agriculture, as it poses ecological and ethical risks. We deliberately do not want to go down this path.
Sustainable agriculture instead of genetic engineering – for honest quality
Our claim: transparent, sustainable and future-oriented agriculture. Around 80% of the feed comes directly from our partner farmers – the rest from strictly controlled European sources. The soy used definitely does not come from rainforest areas, because no tree of the “green lung” is felled for our feed.
With this attitude, we create trust – and you can be sure: in every bite there is honest quality that does not involve genetic engineering.
